Embreier Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 10 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Embreier website and enrolment in programmes provided by Embreier Sàrl.
Where a specific programme, institutional engagement, certification cohort or other service has additional written terms, those specific terms apply to that service and prevail in the event of a conflict.
1. ABOUT EMBREIER
Embreier programmes are provided by:
Embreier Sàrl,
Avenue Edouard-Dapples 28,
1006 Lausanne,
Switzerland
UID: CHE-342.861.914
Email: support@embreier.com
You must be at least 18 years old, and legally able to enter into a contract, to enrol a child or purchase a service from Embreier.
2. PROGRAMMES AND APPLICATIONS
Current programmes, formats, locations, schedules and prices are described on the relevant programme pages.
Submitting an application, requesting a place or requesting an Experience Day does not itself create an enrolment contract and does not require payment.
We review requests individually. Where a suitable place is available, we confirm the programme, group, venue, schedule and proposed start date in writing.
An enrolment becomes binding when you accept our written offer of a place. Payment is requested only after the place and applicable terms have been confirmed.
Places are subject to availability and appropriate group placement.
3. PRICES
Programme prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF), unless expressly stated otherwise. The price applicable to your enrolment is the price communicated to you when your place is offered and confirmed.
Prices may change for future enrolments or future terms. A later price change does not retrospectively alter the price already confirmed for a current paid period or agreed annual enrolment. Any individual family rate, concession or other adjustment applies only where confirmed by Embreier in writing and does not create an entitlement for future enrolments.
The tax treatment of programme fees will be applied in accordance with applicable law. The amount confirmed to you before payment is the amount payable for that billing period unless we expressly state otherwise.
4. PAYMENT
Payment details and the applicable billing schedule are provided with your enrolment confirmation.
By providing a payment method, you confirm that you are authorised to use it and authorise Embreier or its payment processor to collect amounts properly due under your enrolment. If a payment fails or remains overdue, we may contact you to resolve it and may suspend a place after reasonable notice if payment remains outstanding.
5. MONTHLY ENROLMENT
Where monthly enrolment is offered, fees are billed in advance for the relevant billing period. Monthly enrolment continues until cancelled. You may cancel monthly enrolment by writing to support@embreier.com before the next billing period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.
No partial refund is normally due for a billing period already in progress.
6. ANNUAL ENROLMENT
Where annual enrolment is offered, the annual fee secures the child's place for the period stated in the enrolment confirmation. Annual enrolment does not automatically renew. We will contact you separately regarding any future enrolment.
Annual fees are non-refundable once the programme period has begun, except where required by law or where these Terms expressly provide otherwise.
An annually enrolled family may request a pause of up to four weeks during its enrolment year. A pause must be arranged with Embreier in advance and is subject to the practical availability of the relevant group and programme calendar.
7. EXPERIENCE DAYS
A request for an Experience Day is not a confirmed booking. We confirm the available date, venue and other practical details in writing. If an Experience Day carries a fee or specific cancellation conditions, these will be communicated before the booking is confirmed.
8. ATTENDANCE AND FAMILY ABSENCES
Places in Embreier programmes are held for the enrolled child within a small, continuing group. A session missed because of a child's or family's absence does not normally create a right to a refund, credit or replacement session.
Where practical, Embreier may offer an alternative session as a courtesy, but this depends on group capacity and is not guaranteed. Please tell us as early as possible if your child will be absent.
9. CANCELLATIONS OR CHANGES BY EMBREIER
Occasionally, Embreier may need to change a session time, educator, venue or other practical arrangement because of illness, venue availability, safety considerations or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will give families as much notice as reasonably possible.
Where Embreier cancels a paid session and cannot provide a reasonable replacement, the corresponding value will be credited or refunded. Reasonable changes to materials, activities, programme sequencing or educator practice may be made as the programme develops, provided that the essential nature of the programme remains substantially the same.
10. INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR CHILD
Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate and current information reasonably necessary for their child's safe participation, including emergency contact details and any relevant health, allergy, accessibility or support information requested by Embreier.
Please tell us promptly if relevant information changes.
Participation may be paused where information essential to safe participation has not been provided.
11. EDUCATIONAL SCOPE
Embreier is a developmental and educational programme. Observation within Embreier is used to understand participation and inform educational practice. It is not a medical, psychological, psychiatric or psychometric diagnosis or assessment.
Embreier does not guarantee a particular developmental, educational, behavioural or academic outcome. Children develop differently, and observations describe what occurs within the programme rather than predicting individual outcomes. Where a child or family requires clinical, medical or therapeutic assessment or treatment, this should be sought from an appropriately qualified professional.
12. BEHAVIOUR, SAFETY AND PARTICIPATION
Children must be able to participate in a manner that can be safely supported within the programme and group.
Where a significant safety or participation concern arises, we will normally discuss it with the parent or guardian and seek an appropriate solution.
In exceptional circumstances, including serious or repeated safety concerns, Embreier may pause or end an enrolment. Where Embreier ends an enrolment for reasons other than serious misconduct or non-payment, any prepaid amount relating to sessions that will not be provided will be refunded or credited as appropriate.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Embreier name, method, programme architecture, training materials, written materials, designs, text, graphics, photographs, videos and other proprietary content are owned by Embreier or used under licence.
Participation in a programme does not grant permission to reproduce, teach, publish, distribute, sell, license or commercially use Embreier materials or methodology. Materials provided to families may be used privately for the family's own personal purposes.
Educator certification, institutional delivery and licensing of the Embreier method are governed by separate written terms.
14. WEBSITE AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We aim to keep information on the Embreier website accurate and current but may correct errors or update programme information, availability and future pricing.
Our website may use or link to services operated by third parties, including payment, communications and technology providers. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply when you use their services.
We are not responsible for interruptions or failures of third-party systems outside our reasonable control, subject to applicable law.
15. PRIVACY AND COMMUNICATIONS
Personal data is handled in accordance with the Embreier Privacy Policy. We may send communications necessary to administer an application or enrolment, including confirmations, invoices, programme information, schedule changes and information concerning your child's participation.
Marketing communications are separate. Where you receive them, you may unsubscribe using the link provided or by contacting us.
16. LIABILITY
Embreier is responsible for its obligations in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot validly be excluded under Swiss law.
To the extent permitted by law, Embreier is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms affects mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
17. DISCONTINUED AND LEGACY OFFERINGS
Offerings marketed before 2026, including “Growth Programs”, “Level II” and the €75 promotional offer, are discontinued and are no longer available for new purchase.
The promotional deadline of 31 March 2026 has passed and no new entitlement arises under that promotion.
Nothing in this section removes any obligation that may remain from a valid purchase completed while a former offer was available.
Questions concerning an earlier purchase should be sent to support@embreier.com and will be reviewed individually.
18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our programmes, operations or applicable law.
The version in force when an enrolment is confirmed governs that confirmed enrolment unless a change is required by law or is subsequently agreed with you.
Changes published for future enrolments do not retrospectively alter rights or obligations already accrued.
19. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by Swiss law.
Subject to any mandatory consumer rights concerning applicable law or jurisdiction, disputes relating to these Terms or an Embreier programme are subject to the competent courts in Lausanne, Canton of Vaud, Switzerland.
We encourage you to contact us first so that concerns can be addressed directly.
